Office Removals in Madrid
Contact
We organise office moves and company transfers in Madrid from our office at Calle de la Orden, 4. We move offices, entire floors and entire headquarters, with their furniture, computer equipment and archive.
Request a free quote and an advisor will contact you to visit the current office and, if possible, also the new one. With what you see there, you will prepare a closed budget and a work schedule.
The quote includes only what your company needs. We can take care of the packing material, dismantling and assembling the workstations, disconnecting and reconnecting the equipment, applying for parking permits from the Madrid City Council or emptying the office they leave.
Tell us how many people work in the office, where they are moving and what dates they have planned. With that we can start to give you answers.

Office removals in Madrid
An office move goes well when the company returns to work on the scheduled day. That’s why we start each project by talking to the person who coordinates it at the client: which departments move, what can’t stop and how much time we have.
Company relocations in central Madrid
We work mainly in the city of Madrid. In 2018 we moved the Grant Thornton offices from Calle José Abascal, 56 to Paseo de la Castellana, 81, and since then we have moved and emptied offices for other companies in the city.
A relocation plan for each office
No two offices are the same. A consulting firm with two hundred seats in a tower on the Castellana does not move in the same way as an office of twenty people in a building without a loading dock. Before giving a price, we look at the entrances, the lifts, the building’s opening hours and the volume of furniture and archives. With this information we decide how many operators, how many trucks and how many days are needed, and in what order each department moves.
Workstations and IT equipment
We disconnect, pack and reconnect computers, displays, printers and phones. Each piece of equipment is labeled with the plant and the station number, so it arrives at the table where it needs to be and the employee finds it assembled on the first day. For sensitive servers and equipment, we can use air-suspended trucks, which reduce vibrations during the journey.
Archive and documentation
The file travels in the same order in which it was. We number the boxes by cabinet and shelf and at destination we place them following that numbering, so no one has to look for a file after the move. If the company takes advantage of the change to reduce paper, we take the documentation it no longer needs and destroy it confidentially.
Office clearance and furniture recycling
Many companies do not take all the furniture to the new headquarters. We remove the tables, chairs and cabinets that are left over and take them to recycle, so that the old office is empty and ready to deliver to the owner on the date set out in the contract.
Transfers of laboratories, machinery and archives in Madrid
In Madrid we also move laboratories, industrial facilities and archive collections and libraries. These are jobs that require more preparation than an office and in which the plan is made together with the client’s technicians.
Laboratory relocations
We move laboratory equipment, samples and delicate material with specific packaging for each part. Teams that cannot be stopped for long are the last to leave and the first to arrive, and the schedule is agreed with the managers of each area. You can see how we work on the laboratory transfer page.
Industrial Removals
We move heavy machinery and precision equipment, safes and racks, with the lifting means that each case needs. If your company moves production or warehouse, consult one of our consultants and we will explain how we would do it. More information about the transfer of machinery.
Archives and libraries
For universities, public bodies and companies with large documentary collections, we move archives and libraries in accordance with the order of the collections, and we dismantle and reassemble the shelves. More information on the transfer of archives and libraries.
Special services
In Barcelona we are a benchmark company in the transfer of works of art and exhibitions for museums and cultural institutions. Thanks to the trust of our clients, and perhaps also yours, we will soon be in Madrid as well. We move works of art and cultural assets with personnel and vehicles prepared for this work. We have worked for Patrimonio Nacional, among other public cultural bodies. In the summer of 2026 we packed and collected pieces at the Royal Palace of Madrid for the project of transport, relocation and assembly of cultural assets of the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, in Palma.
If your company has paintings, sculptures, or other valuable pieces in your offices, we pack them and move them apart from the rest of the move, with your own inventory. You can see more about moving artwork.
We like to get involved in each move and get to know the company well before moving anything. Below we answer the questions that clients ask us the most before a move of offices in Madrid.
How we organise the relocation of your Madrid office
We have been moving offices, laboratories and collections for more than 40 years. In a company transfer we take care of the complete process: the technical visit, the phased plan, the packaging, the transport, the assembly at the destination and the parking permits with the Madrid City Council. The company only has to tell us what it needs and validate the calendar.
Technical visit and quote
The first step is a visit to the current office. We count stalls, cabinets and meters of file, see where the material can be taken and if the building has a forklift, dock or restricted hours for removals. If possible, we also visit the new office, because the destination accesses condition as much as the original ones.
With this information, we send you a detailed, non-binding quote, which includes each item and the number of days planned. If there is a part that the company prefers to do on its own, such as packing personal drawers, we remove it from the budget.
Packing and labelling of workstations
A few days before the move, we deliver the material: cardboard boxes, boxes for filing cabinets, bubble wrap and labels. Each employee can empty their drawer unit and put their things in boxes marked with their position number. If the company prefers, the packaging is done by our team.
Before we start, we ask for a map of the new office with the numbered workstations. With this plan we prepare the colour labels by floor and area, and at destination each box, chair and screen goes directly to its place. Fragile objects and valuable pieces are wrapped one by one and travel in separate boxes.
Dismantling and assembly of furniture
We disassemble tables, screens, cabinets and shelves, protect each piece with blankets and film and reassemble it in the new office following the plan. When the furniture is system, we store the screws of each workstation separately so that the assembly is quick and nothing is missing.
If the new office has new furniture, we can coordinate with the supplier so that delivery and assembly do not intersect with the move.
Transfer in phases and on weekends
To keep the company going, we divide the move by department or floor and set a calendar. Each team knows which day they leave their old desk and which day they start working at the new one. We work from Monday to Friday and, when the client needs it, also on Saturdays and holidays, so that on Monday the office is working. We do not do night transfers.
Parking permits in Madrid
We ask the Madrid City Council to reserve space on the street for the truck and, if necessary, for the elevator. We process it in advance and confirm the authorized dates before closing the calendar. We also notify the owners of the two buildings to reserve forklifts and accesses.
Personal advisor for your relocation in Madrid
Each company transfer has an assigned advisor who accompanies the client from the first visit. He is the person who designs the plan, talks to the project manager in his company and gives instructions to the teams that do the work.
What is it for? For example, when one department has to be operational before the others, when meeting rooms have to be set up first, or when the IT team needs servers to arrive at a specific time. The advisor takes this into account in the plan and checks that it is completed at each stage.
Their work ends when the company is working in the new office. If any questions arise after the move, such as where a cabinet or file box was placed, the advisor is still your contact.
Companies based in Barcelona and Madrid
Our headquarters and facilities are in Pallejà (Barcelona) and we have an office in Madrid. If your company has offices in both cities or you are moving from one to the other, we coordinate the work from both. You can see more information about moving between Barcelona and Madrid and about moving offices in Barcelona.
Quality, environment and safety
In 1999 we were the first removal company in Catalonia to be certified in quality. Today we have ISO 9001 quality certification, ISO 14001 environmental management certification and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety certification, and we work for companies, universities and public bodies, also through tenders. We have renewed the fleet of trucks and vans with models with lower environmental impact.

Frequently asked questions about office moves in Madrid
Before starting a move, we want there to be no doubts. These are the questions that companies in Madrid ask us the most when preparing a change of office.
How much does an office move in Madrid cost?
It depends on the number of workstations, the archive meters, the accesses to the two buildings and the services included, such as packing, emptying furniture or working on weekends. That is why we do not give fixed prices without seeing the office. After the technical visit we send you a detailed and non-binding quote.
How long does the move take?
We adjust to the deadlines requested by the client. In the technical visit we see what is needed to meet them and we look for the best solution for each case, whether that means doing the move in a single day, in phases or at the weekend.
Can you work at weekends or at night?
We work from Monday to Friday and, if the client needs it, also on Saturdays and holidays. This is the most common thing when the company cannot close during the week. We do not do night transfers.
Who is in charge of parking permits?
Us. We process with the Madrid City Council the reservation of space for the truck and, if necessary, for the elevator, and we confirm the dates before starting.
What does the company have to prepare before the move?
We ask you to appoint a contact person who can make decisions during the move, to provide us with a map of the new office with the numbered positions and to notify your telecommunications provider in good time so that the network and lines are active at the destination. We take care of the rest (material, labels, permits, forklift reservations).
What happens to the furniture that isn’t moved?
We remove them and take them to recycle. The old office is empty and ready to be returned to the owner.
How is confidential documentation protected?
The file travels in closed and numbered boxes and is not separated from the rest of the transfer. The documentation that the company no longer needs is collected and destroyed confidentially.
Is the move insured?
Yes. All our services include civil liability insurance and insurance for the transport of goods under general conditions with excess. If the company moves equipment or parts of great value, we can take out specific insurance with the coverage and amount indicated by the client.
Insurance helps when something goes wrong, but our job is to put the means in place so that it doesn’t happen: proper packing, labelling of every item and a revised plan before moving anything.
Do you work outside central Madrid?
We focus on central Madrid. If your office is in another municipality in the Community of Madrid, contact us and we will tell you if we can do it. For transfers between cities you can see our national moves.
If you still have doubts or want an advisor to explain what the relocation of your office would be like, contact us through the form, by email or by calling 682 10 60 80.
